Ben Atkinson profile image

Ben Atkinson-Foster is a Digital Education Developer within the Digital Education and Student Life team and he looks after the College of Arts. He supports and promotes the adoption of digital tools for teaching and learning and is also currently working on the design and layout of University wide learning platforms. Ben was previously a student at the University of Lincoln, graduating with a First Class degree in Media Production (2013) and an MA in Digital Media (2015). Since then he has held various roles at the institution from supporting digital for the professional services to teaching in the Lincoln School of Film and Media. From 2014 – 2017 Ben ran his own digital agency, Tall Lime ltd, from an office at Sparkhouse Studios on campus and worked with a range of clients in the UK and intentionally on web design, app development and graphic design projects. Ben’s research interests include the application of digital within pedagogy and the history and culture of the southern USA, in particular, country music and Americana. Ben has been a member of the Country Music Association of America since 2014 and presented a Country Music radio programme, Ben’s Country Music Show, on stations across the UK since 2008.
